The newest VALORANT agent has been revealed and her name is Waylay. She was officially revealed at Masters Bangkok Grand Finals on March 2, 2025.

Who Is Waylay?
She is a Thai radiant who can bend light to her will. She is packed with high speed and movement ability and definitely going to shake up the meta in the game.
Waylay, who transforms into light, fills the same aggressive, entry-level niche as Jett and Raze, responding to calls for a new movement-heavy Agent.

Abilities: Light up the fight
Her kit revolves around high speed and debuff called Hindering, which can slow down the enemies across multiple mechanics: fire rate, recoil recovery, equip time, reload speed, movement, and jump speed.
- Refract: Instantly drop a light beacon, then return to it as an invulnerable particle of light—ideal for hazardous moves or swift escapes.
- Light Speed: Equip for a speed burst by firing to dash twice (the first can be uphill) or alt-firing for a single dash. This is a double dose of movement!
- Saturate: Toss a light cluster that explodes on impact, granting Hindering to nearby adversaries with a significant movement and weapon slow.
- Convergent Paths (Ultimate): Use prismatic energy to create an afterimage that emits a light beam. After a brief delay, charge forward with a speed boost while the beam widens, obstructing foes trapped in its glow.
The new agent will be available on March 5, 2025, with Season 2025 Act II’s launch on March 4. Unlock her quickly with a purchase, grind her contract for free using XP, or nab her later with Kingdom Points when the promotion ends.
