One of the most popular co-op indie games on Steam, PEAK, appears to be making its way to the Sony PlayStation 5. A newly published ESRB rating has generated quite the attention from the fans.
Although the developers, Landfall Games, have previously confirmed the console port, they didn’t share any details on the release window. Let’s check out some more details in this article.

ESRB listing hints at PEAK PS5 port
In the newly issued ESRB rating, the game has been listed for PlayStation 5 with an E10+ (Everyone 10+) age rating.
In the ratings, it describes the game as a first-person cooperative adventure where players have to work together to climb mountains, gather resources, overcome environmental hazards and survive the mysterious island.
It also describes the game’s quirky mechanics and includes encounters with spiders and zombies. The funny bit, where starving players can eat other players, and they briefly look like rotisserie chickens before dropping off as cartoon skeletons, is also mentioned.
PEAK PS5 port arriving soon?
Earlier this year, the developers confirmed that the console ports were in development. They explained that their team needed to work more on these ports and that it would require some extra time.
Interestingly, the ESRB listing lists Skybound Games as the publisher for the PS5 version, indicating that the company is helping out with the console version.
Although there is still no official announcement, we can expect a PS5 port very soon. In the listing, there is no official rating for Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch versions.
