Recently, Riot Games celebrated VALORANT‘s 15th anniversary with a special video on April 30, 2025. Some fans were able to spot what we can call a new VALORANT map.
The video, which premiered on the official VALORANT YouTube account, features iconic moments, events, players, new season updates, and the Season 2025 Act III battle pass.

If you watch closely, the anniversary video includes some shots of the new map. It was first noticed when Phoenix flashes came into view.
The map’s style resembles Ascent’s orange bricks and ancient vibe, but it also includes unique aspects such as trees with orange leaves and buildings covered in frosty textures with purple points.
Other perspectives show Phoenix entering a site, while Astra deploys smokes in open spaces—one mimicking an access point and the other mirroring Haven’s A-site heaven.
These graphics show a map with a variety of terrain, maybe combining tight corridors and open sections to accommodate different play styles.

Could it be a team deathmatch map?
There is much speculation among the fans on Reddit forums and X, where fans are debating that this new VALORANT map might be designed for Team Deathmatch (TDM).
The map’s broad expanses and access locations are consistent with TDM’s fast-paced nature, although Riot Games has yet to confirm its role.
The teaser’s ambiguity suggests that it could be either a normal map for Competitive play or a TDM-exclusive arena.
Possible release date
For now, nothing has been officially confirmed by Riot Games, fans are still waiting for further announcements and updates.
The last new map was Abyss, added in June 2024. This really makes a new VALORANT map overdue and the hints from the video might be true.
With Master’s Toronto set to open in June 2025, many believe the map will follow soon after, possibly with Patch 10.09 in mid-June.
The upcoming few weeks will surely be very exciting and stay tuned for further updates and announcements from Riot Games.
