One of the best players
At the 2024 CSGO Major in Shanghai, a new legend was born. Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, a 17-year-old Team Spirit prodigy, not only led his team to victory over FaZe Clan, but he also made esports history by becoming the youngest player to win both a Major and the Major MVP award.
His journey throughout the major was nothing but a dreamlike fairytail. His performances were crucial in Team Spirit’s 2-1 triumph over FaZe Clan, which saw them lift the title in front of a raucous audience at the Perfect World Esports event. This event was the first CS Major to be held in Asia, namely in China, giving international attention to the region’s budding esports sector.
The making of a legend
Danil Kryshkovets from Russia fell in love with Counter Strike at very young age. The game was introduced to him by his elder brother and then it became everything to him.
He has spend more than 13.5 thousand hours of gameplay in this game till now. He is just seventeen years old and no wonder his skills are amazing.
Despite having a high ping of roughly 100, Donk’s skills improved. His skill on the virtual battlefield was clear as he quickly advanced and dominated opponents. At the age of 15, he was named the best player in the FPL, ushering in his meteoric rise. In 2024, he cemented his title as a gaming prodigy by scoring the highest ELO in the first season of FaceIT.

How he caught Team Spirit attention?
Donk’s remarkable growth piqued the interest of OverDrive, Team Spirit’s top scout. Him as a standout performer in the high echelons of FaceIT, was quickly signed by Spirit Academy when he was only fourteen. Despite the challenges, he persevered and honed his skills.
After a year and a half in the academy, the company made a risky step by promoting him to the main roster. As a result, the globe witnessed the rise of Team Spirit’s Donk. Now seventeen, He has two coveted MVP trophies from LAN events, IEM Katowice 2024 and BetBoom Dacha. Now, add another MVP from the CSGO Major in Shanghai 2024 which makes him the youngest Major MVP.
