Why Crimson Desert’s lack of console footage is worrying gamers?

The developers have shown a lot of gameplay footage but everything was on PC. Fans have not seen gameplay footage from base consoles like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

So far, most of the previews and gameplay overview of Crimson Desert have been shown on PC and PlayStation 5 Pro.

Yes! The game has impressive graphics, a massive open-world and large-scale battles, but this does not mean that the game will perform well on the basic current-gen consoles.

Due to this, many players and gamers have questioned and raised concerns over this.

Digital Foundry preview details

According to the latest reports, the analyst from Digital Foundry has tested the console version of the game.

Instead of receiving the code of the game, the team received a PS5 Pro system, which had the game already installed.

The analysts further added that they would not be able to offer base PS5 gameplay footage before launch since activation servers for the console versions are not yet in place. The developers are also reported to be in the process of creating an enormous patch on the day one of console platforms.

These are not good signs for Crimson Desert for console players. Previously, Pearl Abyss promised that they would showcase the gameplay on the base consoles.
