Here’s everything you need to know!

In several regions, God of War 3 Remastered has been removed from the digital PlayStation Store that has lead to many fans wondering whether Sony has permanently remove the game or not.

However, the current report suggests that this is most likely a temporary removal and is tied to a pricing error during the PlayStation Store’s transition. Let’s check out some more details in this article.

Reasons behind the removal

According to the latest report, this issue started when Sony introduced local currency pricing in selected Latin American countries. This replaced US dollar transactions with local currencies.

During this rollout, the God of War 3 Remastered was listed on the Mexican PlayStation Store for just 9.99 Mexican Pesos, which is roughly $0.50 USD. This is far lower than the normal sale price, which makes it a pricing mistake on the digital store.

This was discovered by players and gamers & was quickly spread all over the internet and gaming forums.

Sony removed the game to fix the pricing

In many regions, the game started to disappear from their PlayStation Store. Many players found the blank listing or the game completely unavailable for purchase.

For now, Sony has not revealed any official reason or details about the situation and the removal appears to be a temporary measure to fix the incorrect pricing. In many regions, including India, the game is currently available on the PlayStation Store.

Conclusion

This came out of Sony’s announcement earlier this year, that the PlayStation Store will switch to local currency for prices in several countries in Latin America. The price error seems to have been a byproduct of the currency rollout, given the timing.

At the time, it’s unlikely that waiting to buy God of War 3 Remastered will be an option for those wanting to play it.

Why was God of War 3 Remastered removed from the PlayStation Store?

The game was reportedly removed after a pricing error listed it for only 9.99 Mexican Pesos during PlayStation Store’s local currency rollout.

Is God of War 3 Remastered permanently delisted?

There is no indication that the game has been permanently removed. The listing is expected to return once Sony fixes the pricing issue.

Can existing owners still play God of War 3 Remastered?

Yes. Players who already purchased the game should still be able to download and access it through their PlayStation library.
