When Black Myth Wukong will be available on Xbox Series X/S?

Although the game has been rated by ESRB recently, there is still no announcement of the release date. However, we might expect the announcement soon and the game might be available on Xbox Series X/S late this year or at the start of 2025. 

This is one of the best-selling games of 2024 and a strong contender to win the Game of the Year award in December. The game has already earned more than $1 billion in two months, while it sold 20 million units in just a few weeks after the release of the game in September. 

Now that the game has joined the Xbox Series X/S alongside PC and PS5, it is sure that the sales are going to increase. 

There were many discussions and rumors about why the game was not on the Xbox platform. Many also consider this game to be only PlayStation and PC exclusive. 

However, Microsoft’s representatives were already excited about Black Myth Wukong’s arrival on the Xbox platform back in June, even before the game’s release.

According to Steam, the game is described as:

“Black Myth Wukong is an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology. The story is based on Journey to the West, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. You shall set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past.”
