WWE 2K25 MyGM mode: New features & changes

MyGM returns with brand-new changes

The fans are pretty excited as WWE 2K25 is all set to release on March 14, 2025 and will bring the wildly popular MyGM mode with some new changes.

Since its return in WWE 2K22, this mode has let players take on General Managers such as Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, planning matches, igniting feuds, and creating epic Premium Live Events (PLEs) to outperform competing brands.

Online multiplayer

One of the biggest changes in WWE 2K25 MyGM is that this mode is going online. 2K’s official site spills the beans: “The enhanced MyGM for WWE 2K25 now offers online multiplayer for up to four players.”

Now fans would be able to take their wrestling battle online against other players. Will there be a simultaneous showdown or a turn-by-turn slugfest? Can you combine pals and AI online? That is still unknown, but this jump could keep you interested long after offline seasons run out.

Expanded GM roster and Cross-Brand PLEs

This time, the fans will get more GM’s and cross-brand PLE’s. The latest trailer revealed 18 GMs, each packing a unique once-per-season perk.

Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley return, as do newcomers Nick Aldis from SmackDown, Shawn Michaels from NXT, and Ava Raine, as well as legends Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long—and CM Punk as a wild card! Also confirmed are cross-brand PLEs.

Drafting stars and Legends stays core

2K Games states, “Draft WWE Superstars and Legends to your weekly show’s roster.” There are more than 300 playable characters in WWE 2K25 and it would be fun to play with them in the MYGM mode.

Legends, with their sky-high popularity, remain roster game changers; previous games limited them to a post-draft Legends tab—will that stick? We’ll see but anticipate superstars like The Rock to shake up your brand.
