WWE 2K25 is just a few weeks away from the release and it appears that Roman Reigns isn’t happy with his overall rating in the game.

On February 25, 2025, WWE Games released a video in which the Tribal Chief is tied with Cody Rhodes as the highest-rated active superstar in the game. However, Roman was not satisfied with the ratings.

A tie with Cody Rhodes Sparks debate

Here’s how Roman reacted when he got to know that he had been rated 96 in the game, “Who’s above me? Don’t give me that small print,” Reigns demanded, clearly wanting the full scoop. When told some legends outranked him, he didn’t mince words: “Trash. The only reason I’m cool with 96 is because that was my college football number. Four WrestleMania main events, and I’m a 96? Are you buying these ratings?” It appears that he really wanted the 100 overall rating in the game.

This 96 ties Reigns with Cody Rhodes, who dethroned him as the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 40. Fans are already buzzing—Reigns’ reign as the dominant force didn’t require a faction to support him, whereas Rhodes’ rise was based on great storytelling. Also, it looks like he wasn’t happy that some legends were rated higher than him in the game.

WWE 2K25 DLC tease

Meanwhile, WWE 2K25 developer Bryan Williams has revealed some hints to hype up the game in a chat with WrestleZone’s Matt Black. He was asked about the DLC and here’s what Bryan has to say, “I can only drop hints,” he teased. “The DLC reveal’s coming soon—fans won’t wait long. I’m pumped about this year’s lineup. We’ve got surprises—shocking characters that’ll leave you stunned.”

He also hinted that an unexpected superstar will also be available, “Some wrestlers, you’ll think, ‘No way they’re in this game!’ We’re pushing boundaries, moving mountains to keep the post-launch buzz alive.”

WWE 2K25 is going to be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC. It will be released on March 14, 2025, with early access going live on March 7, 2025, for those who have purchased the Bloodline Edition and The Deadman Edition.
