WWE Star Damian Priest to voice 'The Hood' in Marvel Rivals

The Hood will join the game in Season 9.5

Netease’s free-to-play hero shooter, Marvel Rivals, is a very popular game worldwide. Recently, they have launched Season 9 with the biggest update in the game.

Two heroes, Jubilee and The Hood, will join this season’s roster and it appears that we might have our very first collaboration with WWE.

Current Tag Team Champion Damian Priest might have just teased on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he might have voiced ‘The Hood’ in the game. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Damian Priest joins Marvel Rivals

On July 11, 2026, Priest officially shared the latest “The Mystery of Thebes” trailer on his social media. Sharing this post, he posted a simple message:

“No one beats The Hood.”

At the end of the trailer, The Hood is teased along with his voice. After listening to it many times, we can confirm that this is surely Damian’s voice.

Both Rivals and WWE fans quickly noticed and they are super hyped to see Damian voicing this character.

The Hood will join the Marvel Rivals roster in Season 9.5 in August 2026. Getting closer to release, we might finally get the confirmation from NetEase and maybe some sort of collaboration event with Damian as well.

This will also mark Damian’s first major voice acting project. What a way to start a career, as Rivals is one of the most-played hero-shooter live-service games.

Who is The Hood?

Parker Robbins, aka The Hood, is one of Marvel Comics’ most dangerous crime bosses. After stealing a mystical coat and boots from a demon, he gained his powers.

He has supernatural abilities like invisibility, levitation, and enhanced combat skills. Over the years, he has become one of the most recognizable Marvel Comics villains.

He is often seen leading criminal organizations and clashing with heroes like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and the Avengers.

Now, this character will join the Marvel Rivals roster in Season 9.5. He is currently rumored to be a Vanguard in the game.
