Xbox Partner Preview event: Alan Wake 2, Like a Dragon & more confirmed

Exciting new announcements from Xbox

Xbox fans, get ready. Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Partner Preview event will be held on October 17, 2024. It is expected that some new games might be shown with a mix of already announced games’ release dates, new trailers and more details.

The event will be live-streamed at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/6 pm BST on the official Xbox YouTube and Twitch channels. Let’s check out more details in this article.

What to expect from the Xbox Partner Preview event?

SEGA, Remedy Entertainment, and 505 Games have been confirmed to be the partners of Xbox Partner Preview. It is expected that this live event will last around 25-30 minutes.

There are many trailers and information on games that are going to be announced at this event. For now, they have confirmed updates on three game titles:

• Alan Wake 2
• Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
• Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

New head of Xbox game studios

Recently, Microsoft has also appointed Craig Duncan as the new head of Xbox game studios. Alan Hartman who was the previous head will retire by the end of November.

Craig was the head of Rare Studios where he saw everything related to the development of Sea of Thieves, Killer Instinct, and many more. He has an excellent resume as he was also the studio head of Midway Games and director at Codemasters.

Joe Neate and Jim Horth will replace Craig as the head of the Rare Studio. This studio is working on a new game which is known as Everwild.
