CJ Cup Byron Nelson 2024 player field explored

Defending champion Jason Day returns to the field.

The CJ Cup Byron Nelson is held annually in McKinney, Texas, at the TPC Craig Ranch Golf Course. This year, it will start on Thursday, May 2nd and run through to Sunday, May 5th. The event will be streamed on Paramount+ and ESPN+. The rounds will commence at 7:45 AM ET on ESPN+, where it will broadcast several matches for their fans.

Jordan Spieth, one of the top-ranked golfers will be seen on the field, providing stiff competition to the others at the CJ Cup at Byron Nelson Championship. The event will feature three players from the top 30 in the world rankings.

Who will be the Field Explorer in the CJ Cup Byron Nelson 2024? 

From the top 50 on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), six members will be in the field for the CJ Cup at Byron Nelson. In addition, Stephan Jaeger will be there to intensify the competition. He has won the Houston Open, which is less than 250 miles from TPC Craig Ranch.

K.H. Lee was the champion of the CJ Cup at Byron Nelson in 2021 and 2022, Sungjae Im won in 2019 and Adam Scott was the champion in 2008. All these players will be participating at the Byron Nelson this year. Moreover, in 2023, 17 members of the top 20 players were seen on the field at TPC Craig Ranch for the competition.
