Myrtle Beach Classic 2024
The course of the Myrtle Beach has seen many major golf tournaments in history. The dual golf and beach Club has been designed by one of the great golf course designers, Robert Trent Jones Sr., who is also the founding member of the American Society of the Golf Course Artist. However, it has been renovated by his son, Rees Jones throughout the last 20 years span. It was inaugurated in 1948 and since then holds the position in the list of top 100 golf courses in the USA.
Jones Sr. has given the elevation of 26 feet to the ground making it an aerial design. The arrangement of the trees has been strategically done throughout the course and giving several greenside bunkers, making the golfers force to hit the arial approach creating impeccable visions for the audience.
The course signature hole is the 13th hole which is a par five hole. The hole has a very tight fairway which narrows down to a mere 18 yards, 330 yards of the tee box.
