Another golf event, Myrtle Beach Classic 2024 came to an end this weekend. This is the second event of the PGA Tour taking leave from the year which was held in South Carolina. The Myrtle Beach Classic 2024 was won by Chris Gotterup in the last round which was held on May 12, Sunday.
Gotterup got the 300 FedEx points with the money price of $720,000 from the purse of $4 million. This was the first event won by Chris Gotterup in the year 2024 after achieving T11 at the Zurich Classic. This was the Gotterup’s 27th start on the PGA Tour and he has amassed in total of $837,558 from the previous events.
In the final round of the tournament, many golfers like Henrik Ronlader, JJ Spaun, Micheal Kim, David Skinns, and Erik Van Rooyen showed impeccable performances. In the last the cut ended up at two par and golfers like Justin Lower, Martin Laird, Ryo Hisatsune, Kevin Kisner, Garrick Higgo, Jon Mayor, Ben Tylor, Russel Knox, Rayn Brehm, Ben Martin, Brandon Berry, and Tyson Alexander could not make it to the end.
