Brooks Koepka became the first golfer to secure a major golf championship as a member of LIV Golf.
The 2023 PGA Championship was a 72-hole stroke play event held on May 18-21 at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford, New York. Brooks Koepka won the tournament, securing his third career PGA Championship title and fifth major championship overall.
His two-shot victory over Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler made him the 20th player to capture five major championships. Koepka also became the first golfer to secure a major golf championship as a member of LIV Golf. Brooks Koepka won the 2023 PGA Championship at 9-under par, securing his third PGA Championship title and fifth major championship overall, earning him a winner’s paycheck of $3,150,000, adding to his career.

At the final day of PGA Championship 2023, Brooks Koepka, aiming for his fifth major win, had a one-shot lead heading into the final round. Corey Conners and Viktor Hovland were separated by one shot, while Bryson DeChambeau was two strokes behind. Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy were also in close proximity.
