The next edition of the PGA Championship will be played in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The PGA Championship 2024 held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, attracted top-tier golfers and financial rewards. The purse increased to $18.5 million, with Xander Schauffele winning $3.3 million, followed by the runner-up and third-placed golfer.

Xander Schauffele won the 106th PGA Championship, clinching his first major title after holding off compatriot Bryson DeChambeau in a thrilling final round. Schauffele, who had previously finished runner-up twice and 12 times in the top 10, broke his duck in style with a stunning 62, the joint-lowest round score in major history, and a nerveless putt from just over six feet.

Brooks Koepka won the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford, New York, two shots ahead of Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler. The PGA Championship 2024 took place at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, where Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy competed.

In 2022, Justin Thomas claimed his second PGA Championship victory with a score of 275, edging Will Zalatoris in a playoff. Phil Mickelson, the oldest major champion in history, won the 2021 event at age 50, making him the oldest major champion in history with a score of 282.

Collin Morikawa won his first major title in 2020 with a dominant performance, shooting 267 to win by two strokes. Koepka’s 2019 victory was his second straight PGA Championship, becoming the first player to hold back-to-back titles since Tiger Woods in 2007.
