Tom Kim has won a total of 12 international tournaments and three PGA Tour events.
Tom Kim was born on June 21, 2002, in Seoul, South Korea. He developed a passion for golf at a young age, following in the footsteps of his father, Kim Chang-ik, who was also a professional golfer. To hone his skills and gain exposure to different golfing environments, Tom has lived in various countries, including Australia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
As an amateur, Kim showcased his talent by winning several prestigious tournaments, such as the Philippine Amateur Open Championship and the W Express RVF Cup Amateur Championship in 2018.
Professional journey and past wins
Kim’s transition to professional golf in 2018 marked the beginning of his journey. In 2019, he won the Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament in Indonesia and the Panasonic Open India, becoming the second youngest professional to win on the Asian Tour at just 17 years and 149 days old.
Kim’s success continued in the following years, as he won multiple tournaments on the PGA Tour, Asian Tour, and Korean Tour. His dedication and skills have positioned him as one of the top-earning golfers globally, with an estimated annual salary exceeding $1 million.

Kim’s success on the golf course has also earned him a spot on the International team at the 2022 Presidents Cup, where he won two of his five matches and was hailed as one of the event’s shining stars. Tom Kim has won a total of 12 international tournaments and 3 PGA Tour events.
Net worth and endorsement
As of 2023, Tom Kim’s estimated net worth is around $5 million. This impressive figure is a result of his tournament earnings, which have exceeded $10 million, as well as his lucrative endorsement deals with companies such as CJ Corp, Nike, and Titleist.
The endorsement deal is valued at around $700,000 as of 2023. The terms of the deal are not publicly disclosed, but it is likely to be a multi-year agreement. The partnership will involve Kim promoting Nike’s golf equipment and apparel, as well as other related products.
Kim’s active presence on social media, particularly on Instagram, where he has amassed over 123,000 followers, has also contributed to his growing brand and earning potential.
