The three highest-placed teams from each of the Valencia and Muscat Men’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024 tournaments will clinch their spots in the world event. The quest for Olympic qualification intensifies as these hockey teams vie for a chance to compete on the global stage in Paris.

When and where will Men’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024 take place (Venue and Dates)?

The first men’s qualifier kicks off in Valencia on January 13 and ends on January 21. Just two days later on 15 January, the Muscat qualifier begins with the tournament ending on 21 January.

What are the pools of Men’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024?

For each tournament, the competing nations will be split into two pools as follows:

Valencia men’s pool A: Belgium, Ireland, Japan, Ukraine

Valencia men’s pool B: Spain, Republic of Korea, Austria, Egypt

Muscat men’s pool A: Great Britain, Malaysia, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China

Muscat men’s pool B: Germany, New Zealand, Canada, Chile

Top two teams from the pool stage will reach the semifinals with the finals and third place matches in each pool deciding the top three teams that will receive an Olympic quota.
