The final of the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025 is set for a thrilling clash as seven-time champions Germany take on first-time finalists Spain on Wednesday, December 10, at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Chennai, India.

The Germans who are the defending champions enter the title match on the back of a dominant 5–1 semifinal victory over hosts India. They struck early through Luka Kossel, who opened the scoring and added another later in the 30th minute. Germany continued to dominate with goals from Titus Wex (15’), Jonas von Gersum (40’), and Ben Hasbach (49’).

India managed to pull one back through Anmol Ekka in the 51st minute, but by then Germany had already built an unassailable lead.

For Spain, this final marks a historic first-ever appearance in the Junior World Cup title match. They earned their spot with a 2–1 win over Argentina in the semifinals.

Mario Mena opened the scoring in the 6th minute, netting from a penalty-corner rebound. Albert Serrahima sealed the victory in the 56th minute with a decisive deflection.

Both teams enter the final undefeated. Germany topped Pool B with nine points from three wins. Meanwhile, Spain topped Pool C, also finishing with nine points from three victories.
