The International Hockey Federation (FIH) president Tayyab Ikram met with key leaders recently to discuss the roadmap at the Brisbane Olympic Games.

The FIH and Brisbane 2032 are collaborating to ensure a world-class hockey experience at the 2032 Olympic Games. A recent meeting in Greece brought together FIH President Tayyab Ikram and key Brisbane 2032 leaders, including President Andrew Liveris and CEO Cindy Hook and Sport Director Brendan Keane, to discuss the roadmap at the Games.

FIH expressed satisfaction with the progress on all the preparations. The focus on an athlete-centric approach, strategic planning, and operational excellence is key to delivering a seamless event. Brisbane 2032 also recognized President Ikram’s contributions, particularly in aligning hockey’s growth with the broader Olympic vision.
