The FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025 is scheduled to be held in India from November 28 to December 10, with Tamil Nadu serving as the host state.

Matches will be played across two venues, the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Chennai and the newly constructed Madurai International Hockey Stadium.

The tournament will see young hockey talents from across the world competing over nearly two weeks, with both cities set to play a key role in staging the prestigious global event.Canada, Germany, Ireland, and South Africa are pitted in Pool A, while Pool B consists of Chile, Switzerland, Oman, and host India. Pool C includes Argentina, China, Japan, and New Zealand, while Belgium, Egypt, Namibia, and Spain form Pool D.

The four teams in Pool E are Austria, England, Malaysia, and the Netherlands, while Australia, Bangladesh, France, and South Korea are drawn in Pool D.

The tournament will feature 24 teams divided into six groups of four, with each group following a round-robin format. Once the preliminary stage concludes, teams will be ranked based on their final group positions. The six group toppers, along with the two best runners-up, will qualify for the quarterfinals.

The remaining four second-placed teams and the four highest-ranked third-placed teams will compete in classification matches for positions 9 to 16, while the rest will contest matches to determine rankings from 17 to 24. All subsequent stages will be decided through a knockout format.
