During the Tokyo Olympics, India emerged victorious by scoring five goals as the German side scored four.

Germany defeated Argentina 3-2 in the quarter-finals of Paris Olympics 2024 as Teo Hinrichs, Gonzalo Peillat and Justus Weigand set up the win. The only advantage they hold over the Indian side is that there will only be 15 players instead of 16. The men in blue will be playing with one man short in the field as Rohitdas is currently serving a one-match ban.

The Indian men’s hockey team has already played practice matches before Paris Olympics 2024. They will hope that the result stays the same as Germany could only win one match out of six.
