FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup 2025 points table: India fail to qualify for knockouts

Only group winners and two best second-place finishers will advance to the quarters.
The FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2025 will take place from December 1 to 13. All games of the competition will take place at Centro Deportivo de Hockey Cesped Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile.
A total of 24 teams are divided into six groups with four teams each. The single round-robin format will be followed, with every team playing one game against others in their respective group.
The top team from all six groups and the two best second-placed teams will qualify for the quarterfinals. Then, the winners will contest in the semifinals and final.
The last edition in 2023 witnessed the Netherlands securing a title victory for the fifth time, which is the most for any side. After a 2-2 draw, they beat Argentina 4-1 in the penalties to win the final.

Meanwhile, India could not progress to the knockouts, as they secured only a solitary victory in three group games. They thrashed Canada 12-0 in their only win. Annu was the top-scorer with seven goals for the Women in Blue.
India are placed alongside Germany, Ireland and Namibia in Pool C at the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2025. Jyoti Singh will be leading the side, which has the presence of talented players like Sunelita Toppo, Sakshi Rana and Hina Bano.
