Hockey India League 2026 Auction: Live streaming, TV channel, where & how to watch?

Three teams have withdrawn from HIL 2026.

The auction for the seventh edition of the Hockey India League (HIL) is scheduled to be held in New Delhi on Thursday, September 24. Seven teams will compete in the men’s competition, while four will be in action in the women’s event.

The teams competing in the men’s HIL include Delhi SG Pipers, Hyderabad Toofans, Kalinga Lancers, Racnhi Royal Tuskers, Sharchi Rarh Bengal Tigers, Soorma Hockey Club, and Tamil Nadu Dragons.

From the previous edition of the men’s competition, Team Gonasika and UP Rudras have withdrawn from the upcoming edition, citing financial sustainability concerns.

Women’s defending champions Odihsa Warriors have also pulled out of the 2026 edition. Ranchi Royal Tuskers replace them in the four-team lineup, including Delhi SG Pipers, Rarh Bengal Tigers, and Soorma Hockey Club.

The organizers will announce the tournament dates and venues after the completion of the player auction. According to tournaments, the tournament is expected to commence in early January and conclude by 1st February and will held across three venues.
