Women's Asian Champions Trophy: Full list of title winners

South Korea are the most successful nation in the tournament history.
The Hockey Women’s Asian Champions Trophy is a tournament featuring the top six nations from the Asian Hockey Federation’s member associations. Established in 2010, a total of eight editions have been held so far, in the years 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2023 and 2024.
Since its inception, India have been the most dominant nation, winning the trophy on three occasions (2-16, 2-23 and 2024). While South Korea have also won the tournament thrice (2010, 2011, and 2018), India have reached the final five times to Korea’s four. Just behind India and Korea, Japan have also had successful runs, having secured two titles (2013 and 2021).
Meanwhile, India are the two-time defending champions in the tournament. They defeated Paris Olympics silver medallist, China, 1-0 in the title clash to lift the title for a second consecutive year.
Tournament Format
The tournament takes place in round-robin format with all teams facing one another during the tournament. After all teams have faced each other, the top four will advance to the semi-finals to compete for the top podium spot.
The first-placed team will face the fourth-placed team in one of the two semis, while teams that finish second and third will meet in the other semi-final. The winners of these matches will fight for the top-most podium position.
