Full updated squad of all teams in Women's Hockey India League

Udita Duhan was the costliest purchase in the inaugural women’s auction for Rs. 32 Lakhs.

The women’s auction for Hockey India League 2024-25 concluded in New Delhi on Tuesday (October 15). India’s star defender Udita Duhan emerged as the most expensive buy at the auction attracting a whopping amount of Rs. 32 lakhs from the Shrachi Rahr Bengal Tigers. Netherlands’ Yibbi Jansen was the costliest overseas player, bought for Rs. 29 lakhs by Odisha Warriors. Big names like Salima Tete and Savita Punia were bought by Soorma Hockey Club.

The four teams featuring in the maiden women’s league are Soorma Hockey Club (Haryana), Shrachi Rahr Bengal Tigers, Delhi SG Pipers and Odisha Warriors. Two additional teams owned by Resolute Sports and BC Jindal Group will be introduced in the tournament’s second season.
