The raiders have dominated the first 44 games as we have seen a ton of high-scoring affairs.

For every Pro Kabaddi League PKL game this season 9, our respective correspondents and editors rank their three best-performing players from the match in order. The player ranked at the top of the list is awarded five points. The player finishing second earns three points, whereas the one at the bottom (third place) is given one point.

Such points are carried forward for every player involved in the league, once he’s chosen by our team. Eventually, the total number of points that they accumulate will decide their final position on the leaderboard at the end of PKL season 9. The Khel Now Power Rankings will be published in a series of articles, as we have divided PKL 9 into equal phases of 22 games each for the same. This article includes the rankings for the second set of series (22-44) in PKL 9.

10. Manjeet Dahiya (15)

Manjeet Dahiya from the Haryana Steelers has been playing well along with Meetu who have supported each other simultaneously. The duo are the backbone of the Haryana Steelers' raiding department and shall look to continue the same going forward.

9. Narender Kandola (15)

The youngster from Tamil Thalaivas is playing his debut season and is filling the shoes of star raider Pawan Sehrawat pretty well. He scored a super 10 in the first match of the PKL 9 in the presence of Pawan who couldn't raid due to injury. The youngster’s main weapon is the bonus points which he relies on every match.

8. Surender Gill (15)

Surender Gill has dropped down a few spots compared to the power rating points in the first set of the series. Pardeep Narwal has upped his performance after a slow start which has put down some pressure on Surender Gill. Gill still has a lot of fuel left in his tank and will play a massive role in UP Yoddha's qualification to playoffs.

7. Aslam Inamdar (16)

Aslam Inamdar has dropped in the power rankings table from the third position in the first set to the seventh position in the second set. In the initial set of matches, Aslam was consistently scoring super 10s but dropped form going into the Bengaluru leg. He could only muster five points in the second series but still is a threat to all teams.

6. Guman Singh (17)

Guman Singh has jumped three spots from ninth to the sixth position and has been a vital cog in the U Mumba set-up. He is getting good support from Jai Bhagwan and young Iranian Heiderali in PKL 9.

5. Arjun Deshwal (18)

Arjun Deshwal is the lone raider performing consistently for the inaugural champions Jaipur Pink Panthers. The primary raider has been scoring points consistently but isn't getting good support from the secondary raider Ajith Kumar and Rahul Chaudhari. Arjun Deshwal is maintaining good consistency in the power rankings table.

4. Mohit Goyat (19)

Mohit Goyat has taken over the primary raiding role in the absence of Aslam Inamdar who is going through a poor patch. After a good start to the league, Mohit Goyat’s graph has increased steadily and is also scoring super 10s consistently. The all-rounder along with Pankaj Mohite, Shinde and Aslam shall form a good quartet ton Puneri Paltan success.

3. Rakesh Kumar (20)

Rakesh Kumar has been a revelation for Gujarat Giants and is maintaining the same consistency throughout the league. Presently Rakesh has scored 98 points and is the second-best raider and captain of Gujarat Giants Chandran Ranjith who is quite far away from Rakesh showing dominance.

2. Bharat (21)

Bharat has emerged to be a star raider in the presence of experienced Vikash Kandola who is continuing to show inconsistency. Coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat has rated Bharat highly and is considering him to be the next superstar raider if he continues to perform in a similar way in PKL 9. The tall raider is making good use of height in getting both the bonus and touchpoints

1. Naveen Kumar (29)

Naveen “Express” the captain of reigning champions Dabang Delhi KC continues to occupy the first spot in the power rankings table with 29 points. The Dabang Delhi’s performance has slid down after winning five successive encounters but Naveen Kumar is continuing to perform well and is not getting good support from the defenders hampering the team's performance.
