These players are currently performing extremely well in the league.

The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9 has enthralled fans all over the country for more than a month now and all the teams have played half of their league games. There have been massive changes in the points table in the last week and things are heating up in the tournament. In this article let's take a look at 5 players to watch out for in week 6.

Sachin Tanwar

Patna Pirates have been unbeaten in their last 6 games now. After a slow start they have found their rhythm at the right time. They have moved up in the points table on the back of impressive performances in the raiding department from Sachin Tanwar who has crossed 100 raid points this season. In the absence of Rohit Gulia he took over the responsibility in the last two games and delivered. The three time champions would hope that Sachin can continue his impressive run.

Ashu Malik

Dabang Delhi finally won a game after 6 losses in a row when they defeated the Titans in their last game. The only positive for them when they were losing was the form of Ashu Malik who has scored 90 raid points in 12 games. Going forward the defending champions would hope that Ashu can carry the same form going into the business end of the competition.

Ankush

Jaipur Pink Panthers after a fantastic start to the competition has flustered a bit in the last 4 games but despite that Ankush has been impressive in defence. He is currently the leading defender with 38 tackle points in 11 games. Jaipur would hope that he can continue to put a dent in opposition raiding plans.

Mohammadreza Chiyaneh

The Iranian defender looked at his best in Patna's last game. Last season's top defender now looks in omnious touch as raiders have found it difficult to get a point under him. He has 26 tackle points from 9 games and Patna Pirates fans would hope that Chiyaneh can continue to muster tackle points as the tournament heads towards the playoffs.

Sunil Kumar

Gujarat Giants may be on the 9th spot in the points table but Sunil Kumar has been brilliant for them in defence. In what's turning out to be a very close competition, where teams are competing for every single point on the table, Sunil has amassed 35 tackle points in 11 games. Ram Mehar Singh would hope that Sunil can continue the same form going ahead as his side looks to enter the top 6 in the upcoming week.
