Jaipur Pink Panthers were crowned the champions of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9 after defeating Puneri Paltan in a closely contested contest. This is Jaipur Pink Panther's second PKL title after winning the inaugural edition. Skipper Sunil Kumar led the Panthers from the front with six crucial points in the final.

Here are the player ratings of players from both teams.

Jaipur Pink Panthers

Arjun Deshwal - 7.5

Arjun Deshwal could score only six raid points, but in a low-scoring encounter, it proved to be crucial. His partnership with Ajith Kumar worked well.

Ajith Kumar - 8

Ajith Kumar scored crucial points at the start when Arjun was kept quiet and overall garnered six raid points.

Sunil Kumar - 9.5

The captain showed great composure with experience having captained both Patna Pirates and Gujarat Giants before. The presence of mind, in the end, made sure Jaipur Pink Panthers won the match and the title.

Sahul - 5.5

Sahul Kumar was not as effective as he was in the semifinals and had five unsuccessful tackles. But he scored three tackle points and also made a crucial ankle hold with two minutes left.

Ankush - 7

Ankush finished the league with the highest tackle points in his debut season in PKL. In the final, he scored three tackle points with only one unsuccessful tackle. 

Reza - 5

Reza Mirbhageri the Iranian, who scored a High-Five in the semifinals, could score only one tackle point along with two unsuccessful tackles. 

Abhishek KS - 7

Abhishek in a high-profile match played his part to perfection scoring three tackle points, with only one unsuccessful tackle.

Puneri Paltan

Akash Shinde - 4

Akash Shinde has been disappointing in the last two matches. In the final against Jaipur Pink Panthers, he scored only four points from 13 attempted raids.

Pankaj Mohite - 3

The pressure of playing in the final could be felt as he only scored two points in 14 attempted raids. He scored 16 raid points in the last encounter but was totally outplayed in the final.

Fazel Athrachali - 6

The captain had an average game scoring three tackle points. but the inefficiency from the raiding department cost Puneri Paltan the match.

Nabibakhsh - 7

The Iranian is a man of big matches scoring points in crucial situations. Overall he scored only four points but was involved in a few successful tackles.

Sanketh - 2

Sanketh, the cover defender, was silent throughout the match and was substituted in the 28th minute. He did not score a single point and made one unsuccessful tackle.

Abhinesh Nadarajan - 7

Abhinesh Nadarajan scored two tackle points with all the points coming through super tackles. Overall he had a decent game against Jaipur Pink Panthers and was close to scoring a High-Five.

Gaurav Khatri - 5.5

The defender had a below-average game compared to his semifinals performance. He scored two tackle points.

Aditya Shinde - 7

The substitute scored five raid points in the latter half of the match. He did not play many games before but in a high-profile match played well in a limited time.
