Only two PKL 10 teams are yet to announce their coaches.

The preparations for the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) have commenced, and the dates for the auction of the upcoming season have been announced. PKL 10 auction will take place on September 8th and 9th in Mumbai, with many renowned players coming under scrutiny during this period. Each team selects its players in the PKL auction based on the recommendations of their respective coaches.

The coach plays a crucial role as they lead the team and receive credit for both the team's successes and failures. In the game of Kabaddi, the coach's role is vital as they provide constant guidance to the players. The team's strategies are formulated by the coach, including decisions on which players to field and for how long, all of which are part of the coach's strategy.

Several renowned coaches have been associated with the PKL thus far. From Ram Mehar Singh to Randhir Singh Sehrawat, many excellent coaches have been part of the PKL. For the upcoming season, teams have appointed several outstanding coaches. While some teams have made changes to their coaching staff, others have maintained trust in their previous coaches. Let's find out which team's coach will lead them in PKL 10.

Patna Pirates - Narendra Kumar Redhu

The three-time champions, Patna Pirates, have appointed Narendra Kumar Redhu as their head coach for the 10th season of the PKL. Under the leadership of Ravi Shetty in the previous season, the team did not achieve much success, leading to the appointment of Narendra Kumar Redhu as the new coach. Narendra Kumar Redhu has previously worked in the PKL as the assistant coach of Haryana Steelers in the sixth season. Additionally, he served as the head coach of the Red Army in the Sri Lanka Sports Exchange Kabaddi Tournament, leading the team to a gold medal.

Gujarat Giants - Ram Mehar Singh

Ram Mehar Singh is one of the experienced coaches in the PKL. He guided Patna Pirates to a historic performance and a championship title. However, starting from the previous season, Ram Mehar Singh has been the head coach of the Gujarat Giants and will continue to coach the team in the upcoming season as well.

Jaipur Pink Panthers - Sanjeev Baliyan

Former captain of the Indian team, Sanjeev Baliyan, will be the coach of the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the upcoming PKL season. Under his coaching, Jaipur won the championship title for the second time during the 9th season, and he will continue as the team's head coach in the upcoming season. The team aims to replicate their previous successful performance.

Dabang Delhi - Rambir Singh Khokhar

Rambir Singh Khokhar has been appointed as the new coach of Dabang Delhi for the 10th season of the PKL, replacing Krishan Kumar Hooda. Under Krishan Kumar Hooda's coaching, Delhi clinched the championship title in the eighth season. However, the responsibility has now been given to Rambir Singh Khokhar. Previously, he coached the Indian team in the 1987 Asian Kabaddi Championship, where the team won a gold medal. He also served as the head coach of the Indian team in the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup and the 2014 Asian Games.

Haryana Steelers - Manpreet Singh

Manpreet Singh will continue as the coach of the Haryana Steelers in the 10th season of the PKL. He took charge of the team in the previous season, and despite Haryana's performance not being as good, he has been retained as the coach. Prior to this, Manpreet had coached Gujarat for several seasons.

Tamil Thalaivas - Ashan Kumar

Ashan Kumar was entrusted with the coaching responsibilities of the Tamil Thalaivas during the previous season, and this decision proved to be accurate. Tamil Thalaivas made it to the semifinals for the first time in their history under his coaching, which is why Ashan Kumar will continue as the coach in the upcoming season as well. The team aims to deliver a similar performance once again.

UP Yoddhas - Jasvir Singh

Jasvir Singh has been the coach of UP Yoddhas for many seasons, and the team has performed well under his leadership. The team has consistently secured a place in the playoffs. However, Jasvir Singh still faces the challenge of winning the first PKL title for UP Yoddhas. The team has never won the title so far, and Jasvir Singh aims to fulfill this challenge during the 10th season.

Telugu Titans - Srinivas Reddy

After disappointing performances in the last two seasons, the Telugu Titans have appointed Srinivas Reddy as their head coach for the upcoming season. Srinivas Reddy previously coached the Telugu Titans during the fourth season, and under his coaching, the team finished in the second position. This indicates that Srinivas Reddy has a good track record with the Telugu Titans. He has also coached the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Puneri Paltan - BC Ramesh

BC Ramesh's coaching led Puneri Paltan to an outstanding performance in the previous season, securing a place in the finals. That's why he has been retained as the coach for the upcoming PKL season. BC Ramesh had previously coached the Bengal Warriors to win the title and is now responsible for Puneri Paltan's performance.

Bengaluru Bulls - Randhir Singh Sehrawat

Randhir Singh Sehrawat has been the coach of the Bengaluru Bulls for several seasons, and under his coaching, the team won the title in the sixth season. The Bengaluru Bulls have improved under his guidance. He is credited with bringing players like Pawan Sehrawat to the PKL and is considered a strategy expert. That's why the team has retained him as the coach.

Note: U Mumba and Bengal Warriors have not yet announced their coach for the upcoming season.
