These players are expected to receive very high bids in the upcoming auction.

The Pro Kabaddi League announced the list of “Elite Retained Players”, “Retained Young Players” and “Existing New Young Players” for the landmark season (PKL 10).

According to the organizers Mashal Sports, each category in the PKL 10 auction has a different base price, with Category A at 30 lakhs, Category B at 20 lakhs, Category C at 13 lakhs, and Category D at 9 lakhs. The auction will have a player pool of more than 500 players.

Star players like Pawan Seharwat, Vikash Kandola, and Fazel Atrachali have been released by their respective former teams and have to go under the hammer in the PKL season 10 auction. These star players had attracted high bids in the previous auction.

Let us take a look at the top 5 players to look for in this historic PKL 10 auction.

5. Rahul Chaudhari

Rahul Chaudhari popularly known as “Showman” is one of the Kabaddi biggest stars, having set numerous records in PKL. But, he has struggled lately. In the ninth season, he was amongst the winning team, Jaipur Pink Panthers, yet he only scored 73 points in 21 matches. This year's auction will look for bids for the lost star.

4. Maninder Singh

M.Singh, the former Bengal Warriors Kabaddi player has been released by the team for this year's auction. Earlier, he led the Bengal Warriors to their maiden PKL trophy in 2019. He is regarded as one of the best raiders in the league. He has been consistent in his performance from the last three editions of PKL. He has secured 240 points in the 21 matches he played in the PKL 9. The team Bengal Warrior has not retained any star player for this year's auction. Hence, it would be interesting to see if the team chooses to use FBM (Final Bid card) or he will play this PKL in the new outfit.

3. Fazel Atrachali

Fazel Atrachali is considered one of the best defenders in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. He has earned more than 400 tackle points in the league matches. It is quite possible that the Patna Pirates will bring his star back with the FBM card in the PKL Auction 2023.

2. Mohammadreza Shadlu Chiyaneh

The Iranian defender had the highest tackle points 94 in his debut for Patna Pirates in the 8th edition of PKL. He also led his team to the final match in the same edition. Shadlu asserted his consistency in his performance in the next edition. It is possible that the team could bring back the team star by using an FBM card in the auction.

1. Pawan Sehrawat

In the last edition of the PKL 10 Auction, Tamil Thalaivas bought Pawan Sehrawat for the highest-ever bid in PKL history for Rs.2.26 Cr. However the fans and team were disappointed as he played a single match and was ruled out due to injury. He scored 304 raid points from 478 total raids in the 24 matches he played in PKL Season 8. Besides his ups and downs, his stats are impressive enough to look for high-price bids in this edition of PKL Auctions.

Pro Kabaddi League Auctions 2023 will be held on September 8th and 9th in Mumbai.
