The 28th match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 will be played between U Mumba and Tamil Thalaivas at Badminton Hall in Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on December 17 at 9 pm.

Going into this season, the biggest talking point was their coach Gholamreza Mazandarani from Iran, and the young sensation from his country Amir Mohammad Zafardanesh. The coach has given full freedom to the 19-year-old as he kept attacking the opposition defenders scoring yet another Super 10. Amir and his teammates Guman Singh and Visvanth will face a tough challenge from Tamil Thalaivas.

The defense continues to be the Achilles heel for the season two champions. Despite boasting a squad of experienced players like Surinder Singh, Mahender Singh, Girish Ernak, and Rinku the team from the west conceded 22 unsuccessful tackles. The coach will have to keep the faith and the quartet will look to repay the faith against the Tamil Thalaivas.

Thanks to Narender, Tamil Thalaivas registered their second win of the season. He did everything that was asked of him except when he failed to close out on the last raid. But the youngster is a quick learner and will ensure he is aware of every second. The depth of the Thalaivas squad was on display when Nitin and Jatin came off the bench and scored four points each.

Thalaivas could also unleash Iran’s Amirhossein Bastami with his country mates Zafardanesh in roaring form. Coach Ashan Kumar would want his defense to put up a better performance, much like Sahil Gulia whose seven points stopped Pawan Sehrawat in the last game. His combination with Sagar Rathee has been a successful formula for Thalaivas and they would be hoping to go into their home leg with a win.
