PKL 10: Players will gradually find their form in upcoming matches says Pardeep Narwal

The team of seasoned raiders had to face defeat in a closely contested match.
The start of the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 10) wasn’t as promising for the UP Yoddhas, and they had to face a loss in the very first match. In this match, UP’s captain Pardeep Narwal performed poorly, failing to make an impact and being unable to open his account. Due to this, he was benched in the first half itself. Pardeep scored a total of 6 raids without earning any points, possibly leading to the coach’s decision to bench him. The team faced close competition and managed to secure only one point.
Players will gradually find their form in the upcoming matches – Pardeep Narwal
Meanwhile, UP Yoddhas captain Pardeep Narwal is not at all worried about the team’s loss and believes that this was just the first match, and the players will gradually find their form in terms of player coordination. During the post-match press conference, he stated, “This was our first match. Our players will gradually settle, and they will perform better in the upcoming matches. We followed about 80 percent of what the coach told us. We made some mistakes, and we will try to rectify them in the next matches.”
This feels like a homecoming for me – U Mumba Coach
On the other hand, U Mumba’s coach Gulaamreza expressed joy over the team’s performance, stating that returning to U Mumba feels like a homecoming for him. Gulaamreza had coached U Mumba before and is once again coaching the team. During the press conference, he said, “I feel like I have come back home. In this match, our young players displayed excellent gameplay. As far as Ameer Mohammad Jaffar Dairiesh is concerned, he is a talented player. He is performing well, but it would be premature to call him a superstar now. He has a whole career ahead of him.”
