The first day of the Bengaluru leg will witness the first Maharashtrian derby of the season.

After the first eye-boggling Ahmedabad leg of the Pro Kabaddi League season 10, now it’s time for the Bengaluru leg where Puneri Paltan is all set to take on U Mumba in the 12th match of the tournament in Bengaluru on 8th December. Puneri Paltan would be looking forward to carrying their red-hot form after earning a well-deserved win against a strong Jaipur Pink Panthers in their last match. While for the U Mumba, the season so far has been of a mixed nature with one win and one loss. The team will have to bring their A-game to return in winning ways.

All-rounders- Viswanath V, Ram Adhgale, Amirmohammad Zafardanesh.

Head to head

Puneri Paltan and U Mumba have faced each other in 20 matches in Pro Kabaddi. Out of these 20 games, Puneri Paltan have won 8 whereas U Mumba have come out victorious on 10 occasions.

Players to watch out for

Guman Singh will head U Mumba’s raiding unit with 237 raid points in 40 games. Girish Maruti Ernak, who has accumulated 359 tackle points in 143 games, will be in charge of U Mumba’s defence. Visvanath V, an all-rounder, is another player to keep an eye on after scoring 21 points in his lone PKL season.

Meanwhile, Abinesh Nadarajan, who has 78 tackle points in 37 PKL games, will be primarily responsible for Puneri Paltan’s defensive duties. After totaling 183 points in his PKL career thus far, all-around player Mohammadreza Chiyaneh is another player to keep an eye on.
