PKL 10: Pawan Sehrawat, Ankush Rathee headlines 'Team of the Chennai leg'
Haryana Steelers have two players that have earned a berth on the team.
The most unexpected development in the Pro Kabaddi League’s 10th season (PKL 10) is that the home club Tamil Thalaivas did not win a single match during the Chennai leg. None of their players advanced to the Team of the Leg in spite of this. This week, teams like the Bengaluru Bulls and Jaipur Pink Panthers had strong performances. Now let’s see which guys have merited a spot in ‘Team of the Chennai Leg‘.
PKL 10: Team of the Leg
Raiders
Pawan Sehrawat (Telugu Titans):
Pawan Sehrawat, the captain of the Telugu Titans, was able to get himself into the Team of the Leg. In the team’s season-opening victory over the Haryana Steelers, Pawan scored a Super 10, which was a major contribution. He also scored 13 points against the Bengaluru Bulls, which was a major factor in the team’s triumph.
Rakesh (Gujarat Giants):
With two victories this week, the Gujarat Giants had a great week, and Rakesh, their key raider, was a big part of it. Rakesh scored nine points to help the team win over Tamil Thalaivas and fourteen points to lead the team to victory against UP Yoddha, for a total of twenty-three points in two games
Shivam Patare (Haryana Steelers):
In two games, Shivam Patil gave a great effort even though the Haryana Steelers lost to the Telugu Titans. He qualified for the Team of the Leg after scoring 12 points against the Telugu Titans and 8 points against the Tamil Thalaivas.
Defenders
Ankush Rathee (Jaipur Pink Panthers):
Ankush, who played in the left corner position, scored nine points in each of the two games that the Jaipur Pink Panthers played during the Chennai leg, greatly aiding the team’s victory.
Rahul Sethpal (Haryana Steelers):
Setia achieved a spot in the Team of the Leg by playing as a right corner. In two games, he scored eight points in total, including a game-winning seven points against Tamil Thalaivas to help the team win.
Harsh Lad (Bengal Warriors):
During the Chennai leg, Bengal Warriors unveiled new defender Harsh Lad. With eight points in his first game, he had a strong start. Even though he played well, the team lost because of the efforts made by other players.
Mohit (Dabang Delhi):
Mohit from Dabang Delhi earned a spot in the Team of the Leg by playing in the proper cover position. He scored three points against the Bengal Warriors and three points against the Jaipur Pink Panthers with steady efforts in both games.
Due to their outstanding efforts during the Chennai leg, these players were named to the Team of the Leg.
