A total of 6 teams will qualify for the playoffs out of which 4 have already qualified.

Season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 10) has produced enthralling action for the fans. Firstly, the return of the caravan format of the league has made fans watch not only their favorite team in action but also their favorite players from the other teams. Teams have also taken the league to the next level with different strategies from the support staff.

While players have produced some incredible Kabaddi action, at the end of the day it is the results that matter. Every fan would want their team to qualify for the playoffs, but not every team could qualify. With just six spots up for grabs, every team has been fighting hard to ensure qualification. Few teams have booked their tickets to Hyderabad where the playoffs will happen. Let’s look at the teams that have qualified for playoffs.

Jaipur Pink Panthers

The overwhelming favorites to win PKL 10 are also the reigning champions, Jaipur Pink Panthers. The Pink Panthers had a dismal start to the season, but they have since recovered admirably, winning 12 of their first 18 games. Due to their incredible 13-game winning streak during their expedition, all teams are now cautious while facing the first-ever champs.

The best thing is the relentless effort the team pushes even in the final seconds which is why they have three tied games in the season so far. It wouldn’t be shocking if the Pink Panthers finished with about 90 points after reaching 72 points already. They’re probably going to take first place in the standings.

Puneri Paltan

The runners-up from last season Puneri Paltan is now the second team to guarantee a postseason berth and is more likely to finish first in the standings. Aslam Inamdar and Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyanneh, two of Pune’s top all-around players in the league, have helped them dominate the season thus far.

Gaurav Khatri and Abinesh Nadarajan have guarded the defense, and Mohit Goyat and Pankaj Mohite have led the attack. Pune recently lost the top spot to Jaipur Pink Panthers. Pune has 71 points from 17 games, and considering their amazing +197 score differential, Pune may challenge for the top slot.

Dabang Delhi

Dabang Delhi became the third team to book the playoff spot in season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League. While they were expected to seal during their home leg, it didn’t quite pan out the way they expected. But the inevitable has happened with the results on day one of the Bengal Leg.

The defense has been a rock-solid one with the young blood of Yogesh and the experienced Vishal Bharadwaj guarding it. The point of concern has been their Raiding department. Ashu Malik has had a stellar tournament but he has been lacking support from the others.

The injury of Naveen has left a huge hole but Delhi would like to repeat what Bengal Warriors did when they clinched the title in the absence of Maninder Singh.

Gujarat Giants

Gujarat Giants are heading to the PKL 10 playoffs after demolishing Bengaluru Bulls by 50-28 in match 116 of PKL 10. Four teams have confirmed a place in the PKL 10 playoffs including Gujarat Giants who have accumulated 65 points from 20 matches.

Gujarat have been one of the most dominant sides this season. In the first half of the tournament, they continuously held the top spot in the points table.

Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates became the fifth team to secure the playoff spot in season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League. They will be eager to continue their winning run and clinch the title for the record fourth time in 10 years. Patna Pirates are no newcomers to the playoffs.

They created history by qualifying for the playoffs for the record – seventh time, the most by any franchise. If they can play well as a unit, the team that won a hat trick of titles could claim one more title. Sachin Tanwar has been the leader of their Raiding unit with the likes of Manjeet, M Sudhakar, and Sandeep Kumar providing the perfect support.

It is the defensive duo of Ankit and Krishan Dhull that has made the Pirates an invincible team to beat. They went a notch up in their home leg with the inclusion of Mayur Kadam, who has been incredible ever since he has been given a place in the starting seven. The Patna fans will be eager to watch how the playoff unfolds for their team.

Haryana Steelers

The 10th season of Pro Kabaddi League is now being played at Panchkula. The home team Haryana Steelers defeated the Patna Pirates 39–32 in tonight’s opening game. By the win, the Haryana Steelers have booked their rightful spot in the playoffs of season 10. The minuscule chances of Bengal Warriors for a playoff spot have been closed thanks to a win for the home team.

In the game, Patna and Haryana had a strong start with a cautious approach. Not one of them were offering easy scoring opportunities as the score at halftime was 13–13. Patna forced Haryana to go all out in the second half. Haryana overcame all odds and emerged victorious against Patna. This game was won by Haryana.
