There are only two coaches in this list who have won the prestigious title multiple times.

The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) got a new winner this season as Puneri Paltan defeated Haryana Steelers in the ultimate game and lifted their first-ever trophy. PKL 10 showcased a lot of magical moments filled with drama, entertainment and joy.

While players often take away all the limelight for their performances on the mat, the head coaches also deserve a lot of praise and credit for everything that they do behind the scenes. Coaches play an influential role in the success of any team and therefore they are such an impeccable part of the game.

In this article, we take a look at the coaches who have won the most number of PKL titles.

BC Ramesh – 2 titles

BC Ramesh is the most successful head coach in the history of the league. He won his first title as the assistant coach of Bengaluru Bulls before winning his second title as the head coach of Bengal Warriors. He then won his third title as the head of Puneri Paltan in PKL 10.

Ram Meher Singh – 2 titles

Ram Meher Singh led the Patna Pirates to glory twice. He won his first title in PKL 3 when the Pirates were defeated 31-28. The head coach led Patna Pirates to a third title in PKL 5 as his side cruised past Gujarat FortuneGiants.

Sanjeev Kumar Baaliyan – 1 title

Sanjeev Kumar Baliyan won his first title in PKL 9 when his side, the Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated Puneri Paltan 33-29.

Kasinathan Baskaran – 1 title

Kasinathan Baskaran became the first-ever head coach to win the PKL title. He won the inaugural edition as the Jaipur Pink Panthers pulled off a dominating win over U Mumba.

Edachery Bhaskaran – 1 title 

Edachery Bhaskaran won his first PKL title with U Mumba as the Mumbai-based franchise defeated the Bengaluru Bulls 36-30.

Arjun Singh – 1 title

Arjun Singh clinched his first PKL trophy in 2016 as he led the Patna Pirates to their second title in PKL 4.

Randhir Singh Sherawat – 1 title

In PKL 6, Randhir Singh Sherawat and the Bengaluru Bulls won their first-ever PKL championship. 

Krishan Kumar Hooda – 1 title

Krishan Kumar Hooda helped Dabang Delhi KC lift the PKL trophy for the first time in PKL 8.
