Season seven champions Bengal Warriorz will take on the most successful team in PKL history, Patna Pirates on Sunday.

The men in blue badly needed a win to stay alive in the tournament as they have amassed only 25 points in 13 games. All the hype after the auctions having bought the likes of Fazel Atrachali, Nitesh Kumar, and Mayur Kadam has been silenced on the mat. It is high time they stitch together a few wins to have a go at the title.

When it comes to capturing the title, no team has performed better than Patna Pirates, who have done so on three consecutive occasions. More than lifting the title, they have lifted many unknown players and made them stars. From the likes of Pardeep Narwal and Sandeep Narwal in the earlier years, now they have unearthed Devank Dalal and Ayan Lohchab.
