Bengal Warriorz vs Dabang Delhi: All time Head-to-Head record in Pro Kabaddi
Bengal Warriorz have a one-win lead over Dabang Delhi in Pro Kabaddi League.
Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League is into its final stretch of the Hyderabad leg with teams finding their best combination from the new squad they have built for the season. One of the teams, that had a great auction was the season seven champions Bengal Warriorz.
Having used an FBM card to buy back Maninder Singh, they bought the experienced duo of Fazel Atrachali and Nitesh Kumar to strengthen their defence in PKL 11. It has turned out the way they expected as the Warriorz have 17 points from five games, with two wins, two tied games, and a loss.
For their opponents, Dabang Delhi the start to Pro Kabaddi League 11 has been a disappointing one. They lost Siddharth Desai to injury before the season and an injury has kept Naveen Kumar out of action for a while now. Ashu Malik continues to fight a lone battle on the attacking front. But the defence has failed miserably with four losses in the last four games.

They will look to change their fortunes and will be up against their traditional rivals Bengal Warriorz at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Both have produced some of the iconic contests in the history of the league including the finals of season seven, when a Maninder-less Bengal pipped Dabang Delhi to lift their maiden title.
The first two Pro Kabaddi League seasons saw the bragging rights shared equally with two wins each in the four games they played. The third season was a forgettable season for Dabang Delhi as they could win only one game in the entire season and Bengal beat the men from the Nation’s capital twice in the season which helped the Warriorz qualify for the playoffs for the first time.
The downfall was for both franchises in the fourth Pro Kabaddi League season as Bengal finished last and Delhi finished second last in the season. Both teams rarely won games with each other beating themselves once to get some joy to the fans. The 2017 edition saw the introduction of four teams, the league was split into two groups with both occupying one another.
In the only Pro Kabaddi League game they played, it was a thrilling tie – the first of many between these two sides. Bengal finished at the top of their group while Dabang Delhi finished last in their group. It was a lucky six for Dabang Delhi as they won all three contests against Warriorz in the season including in the Eliminator when Naveen Kumar, making his debut in the season contributed with a Super 10.
History beckoned both teams as they made it to their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League finals. It was Bengal who came out triumphing despite a whirlwind performance from Naveen who scored 18 of the 34 points scored by his team. Delhi returned next season to register a convincing 17-point win and lift the cup beating the Patna Pirates in a thrilling final.
In the last two Pro Kabaddi League seasons, both franchises have entertained the fans with thrilling contests including a tie. With Bengal having suffered two ties this season, it won’t be a surprise if we witness another game where the teams share the points. But the game promises to be a humdinger of a contest.
