Bengaluru Bulls retains Randhir Singh Sehrawat as coach for PKL 11

He will be coaching the side for the 11th consecutive season.
The season six Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Champions, Bengaluru Bulls have retained Randhir Singh Sehrawat as the coach for PKL 11. He has been the Bengaluru Bulls’ coach since the team’s founding and is the only coach who has worked with a single team from the beginning. It was a brainer that the franchise decided to have his guidance as the league is set to enter the second decade of its existence.
In Kabaddi circles, one of the most well-known names is Randhir Singh. When Pro Kabaddi was introduced in 2014, the Bengaluru franchise was quick to hire him as the coach. He helped them develop strategies to build a strong team which qualified for the finals of season two. He continued to be the coach and eventually won the title in season six.
Due to his extensive tenure with the franchise, Randhir Singh is the only person who truly knows this group of players. Numerous coaching changes have been made by other teams. While coaches have occasionally chosen to quit teams in search of greater possibilities, Randhir Singh is the only one who has been connected to a single team from the beginning. This demonstrates the franchise’s and the coach’s loyalty.
Aside from that, the veteran has served as a coach and mentor for a number of local and national teams as well as academies. It is in these local tournaments that he finds talents. Some of the greatest players Rakesh Kumar and Pawan Sehrawat are finds of Randhir. It is the uncanny ability of his to unearth talents that has kept him at the helm of Bulls. The fans would be hoping for another such gem as they will look to lift the trophy for the second time in PKL history.
