Bengaluru Bulls vs Gujarat Giants: All time Head-to-Head record in Pro Kabaddi

Bengaluru Bulls are set to take on the Gujarat Giants in the 89th match of the Pro Kabaddi 2024 (PKL 11) in the Badminton Hall in the Balewadi Sports Complex. This match marks the beginning of the third and final leg of the season, set to take place in Pune. With both teams placed at the bottom of the table, they are barely in mathematical contention for a spot in the playoffs.
The Bulls are currently occupying the last spot in the Pro Kabaddi League 11 table, with 16 points in 15 matches. They have won two matches and lost the remaining thirteen. The season 6 champions come into this fixture, having been hammered 29-54 by the Patna Pirates in their previous match.
The Gujarat Giants are placed just one rung above, securing 26 points in 14 matches in PKL 11. They have won four games and lost nine, with one game ending in a stalemate. In their last match, they narrowly lost 33-34 to defending champions Puneri Paltan.

The two sides had earlier met in Match No. 6 of this edition of Pro Kabaddi League, with the Giants emerging victorious by a margin of 36-32. Bulls’ raider Pardeep Narwal had top-scored with 9 raid points, while Giants’ right corner Sombir, who had scored 6 tackle points, was the best defender on the night.
The Gujarat Fortunegiants were introduced to the league in Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, with their name being changed to the ‘Gujarat Giants’ in the next season. When they had first faced the Bulls in Pro Kabaddi LeagueL 5, they had won by a margin of 27-24.
The two sides then played their first and only tie (30-30), when they next met in the sixth edition of Pro Kabaddi League. Bengaluru Bulls were then triumphant in the other two fixtures in the same season, which included a 38-33 win in the final, thus giving the team their first title and their opponents a second consecutive runner-up finish.
The Giants emerged victorious in both fixtures in Pro Kabaddi League season 7. During the league stages in PKL 8, both sides won one match each. They again had a date with each other in the knockouts, with the Bulls reigning supreme by a whopping margin of 49-29 in Eliminator 2.
In the next Pro Kabaddi League season too, both teams clinched one game against each other in the league stage. Ever since the Bulls have not been able to taste success against the Giants: they met twice in season 10 and once earlier this season.
The Bulls have had their biggest victory margin in Eliminator 2 in PKL 8, when they won by 20 points (49-29). On the other hand, the Gujarat Giants secured their biggest win (50-28) in their second meeting in the league stage in PKL 10- by a margin of 22 points.
