PKL 12: Four cities likely to host Pro Kabaddi 2025; All you need to know

Pro Kabaddi League 12 is set to begin on Friday, August 29. Following the success of eleven thrilling seasons, PKL is set to enter an exciting new chapter. PKL 12 will see defending champions Haryana Steelers return for title defence after a stunning triumph in Season 11.
All twelve franchises formed strong teams in the recently concluded auction. Every franchise has included a match winner in their squad for the upcoming season. Hence, the upcoming season is set to offer unprecedented levels of competition and entertainment.

Which four cities are likely to host PKL?
The venues for the upcoming season have not been announced yet. According to our sources, PKL 12 is likely to be hosted in four cities, namely Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai, and New Delhi.
It is worth noting that the league was divided into three legs in the previous edition: Hyderabad, Noida, and Pune. Khel Now had also earlier reported the possibility of the league being shortened to six weeks as a result of falling viewership.
All the teams are ready for the upcoming season and they have started their training camps to prepare for the upcoming season.
PKL 12 is likely to begin in Vizag. Vizag might host PKL for the first time since 2018. In an interview with the Hindu, Telugu Titans CEO Trinadh Reddy said, “Both Vizag and Hyderabad are treated as our home grounds. After 2018, there has been no PKL in Vizag. Keeping that in mind, we wanted to have it there this time.”
“The TRPs (Target Rating Points) that we get from both Telugu States are very high. Keeping that in mind, we moved from Hyderabad to Vizag this year. The Port Indoor Stadium will be the venue there.”
Players, pundits, and fans await as the PKL is set to return in 40 days. At the auctions held on May 31 and June 1 in Mumbai, a record total of ten players had breached the Rs. 1 Crore mark. All teams seem to be nearly equally strong, which means that a blockbuster season could be in store.
