List of all Iran Men's Kabaddi Players selected for coaching camp ahead of Asian Games 2026

Iran were the runners-up in the 2022 Asian Games Kabaddi.
Iran have named 21 players for their coaching camp ahead of the Asian Games 2026. The Hangzhou Asian Games runners-up begin preparations for the continental showpiece. It is important to note that this is not the final squad, and the main roster for the Asian Games will be picked from this training pool at a later stage, with selection still ongoing.
The 2018 Asian Games winners have kept faith with their experienced core while also handing opportunities to some exciting younger players who have been knocking on the door.
Fazel Atrachali has been the heartbeat of Iranian Kabaddi for as long as most fans can remember. The legendary defender had an extraordinary 2018 in Jakarta, where he helped Iran clinch gold; he has an extraordinary 2022 Asian Games too.
Atrachali also had a stellar PKL 12. He helped Dabang Delhi win their second title, clinching 52 tackle points and 3 raid points in 19 games.
Iran also have a real weapon in Mohammad Reza Shadloui, who is currently one of the lethal defenders in the PKL. However, Shadloui had an average 12th season with Gujarat Giants, clinching 65 points in 17 matches.
Players like Reza Mirbagheri and Amirhossein Bastami have gained significant experience through the Pro Kabaddi League. They have faced high-pressure situations before and are well aware of what is required—both physically and mentally—in major kabaddi tournaments.
The younger faces like Mahan Zamani, Abolfazal Noriyan, Alireza Khalili, and Amir Reza Aliakbari have all worked hard to earn their places and deserve every bit of recognition coming their way right now.
