KCL Haryana: Bhiwani Bulls' strongest starting 7 ft. Devank Dalal

Devank Dalal became the most expensive player in the KCL Haryana Season 1 auction.

The inaugural Kabaddi Champions League (KCL Haryana) auction has officially set the stage for a thrilling season, and no team has made a stronger statement than the Bhiwani Bulls. The Bulls’ acquisition of PKL star Devank Dalal for ₹19.2 lakhs demonstrates their dominance in the auction.

The Bulls, who represent a region known as “Little Cuba” of India due to its boxing pedigree, have assembled a squad that reflects that same grit, focusing on a balance of explosive raiding and a rock-solid defensive wall.

The Bhiwani Bulls, led by head coach Naseeb Janghu, have assembled a starting lineup that combines Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) experience with the raw, high-intensity energy of the young players. Their strongest lineup is designed to be tactically adaptable, with versatile all-rounders and specialized defenders who can handle any match situation.

As they prepare to take the mat, the Bulls are emerging as one of the favorites to win the championship in this historic first season. On that note, let’s take a look at the predicted starting 7 of the Bhiwani Bulls ahead of the tournament.

Leading the charge at center is the sensational Devank Dalal, the most expensive Indian player in PKL 12 history. Devank’s rise from the Jaipur Pink Panthers in Seasons 9 and 10 to his breakout season with the Patna Pirates in Season 11 was legendary.

He finished as the league’s Best Raider with 301 raid points in 25 matches, including 18 Super 10s and a 71% raid strike rate.

Currently leading the Bulls, his “fearless kabaddi” and recent record-breaking ₹2.205 crore move to the Bengal Warriorz in PKL 12 make him a formidable opponent on the mat. He is coming off another fantastic season with the Bengal Warriorz, where he led the team to 271 raid points in just 16 matches.

Deepak Singh – Right Cover

Deepak Singh, an experienced defender with a military background in the Indian Army, guards the right cover and is also a regular member of the Services team.

Deepak won the PKL Season 9 championship with the Jaipur Pink Panthers and has also played for the Gujarat Giants and is currently the Patna Pirates‘ vice-captain.

He has 136 tackle points in 61 PKL matches, with a 42% success rate, including an outstanding performance in Season 11 when he secured 64 tackle points.

Hitesh – Right Corner

Hitesh Kadiyan, Right Corner, is a defensive phenom for the UP Yoddhas (Seasons 10-12). Hitesh became a breakout star in Season 11, with 74 tackle points and 7 High 5s, the second-highest total in the league.

His aggressive style in Season 12 resulted in nearly 6 tackle attempts per match, bringing his career total to 153 tackle points and a 48% success rate.

His experience in the Yuva Kabaddi Series with teams such as the Hampi Heroes and the Periyar Panthers prepared him to be the league’s top right corner specialist.

Sombir Mehra – Right In

Sombir Mehra at Right In rounds out the Bulls’ depth, a versatile player who honed his skills with the Jaipur Pink Panthers in PKL Seasons 11 and 12.

Parvesh Malik – Left Cover

Legendary PKL defender Parvesh Malik led the defence of The Bulls at left cover. Parvesh is an Asian Games gold medalist and one of the most consistent defenders in PKL history, with over 381 tackle points and 19 High 5s.

He is well-known for his time with the Gujarat Giants (Seasons 5-8), where he scored an impressive 86 tackle points in Season 6. After stints with the Telugu Titans (where he scored six High 5s in Season 9) and U Mumba in Season 11, his tactical “block” is still one of the most effective moves in the game.

Sunder Nawab Singh – Left Corner

Sunder Nawab Singh, a local defensive powerhouse known for grit and heavy-duty tackling, will guard the left corner. Despite being a newcomer to the professional leagues, Sunder’s inclusion as a specialist corner reflects the team’s commitment to scouting local Haryanvi talent capable of surprising experienced raiders.

Naveen Raval – Left In

Naveen Raval brings the balance of an experienced all-rounder. He has a remarkable PKL history with teams like Dabang Delhi and Haryana Steelers, and also won PKL 11 with Haryana.

He has 39 total raid points and 26 tackle points in 25 PKL 11 and 12 matches, making him the ideal raiding partner for Devank Dalal.
