KCL Haryana 2026: Sonipat Stars, Karnal Kings register wins on Day 5

Karnal Kings solidified their top position in the points table.
The Kabaddi Champions League Haryana (KCL Haryana) is delivering some intense kabaddi action for the fans. So far, in five days of play, it has attracted a lot of viewers, with most matches turning out to be thrillers.
The presence of experienced PKL players along with emerging local talents has added great competitiveness to the league, making every encounter unpredictable and exciting.
The league is proving why Haryana is known as the home of kabaddi and a producer of many world-class kabaddi stars. Day 5 of KCL Haryana was just as exciting as the first four days. Both matches were nail-biters, with results decided in the closing minutes.
The first game of the day was between Sonipat Stars and Bhiwani Bulls, while the second clash featured Karnal Kings taking on Faridabad Fighters. On that note, let’s have a look at the results from Day 5 of KCL Haryana.

Sonipat Stars vs Bhiwani Bulls
The battle between Sonipat Stars and Bhiwani Bulls felt like a clash between two of the most exciting kabaddi stars of recent times, Devank Dalal and Ayan Lohchab. Both were teammates in PKL 11 and finished as the top two raid point scorers in the recently concluded PKL 12.
Bhiwani Bulls started strongly with Devank looking in fine touch, but the Stars responded well, with Ayan in superb form and Harsh providing solid support. At halftime, the Bulls held a narrow 15–13 lead, but it didn’t take long in the second half for the Stars to inflict an all-out and swing the momentum.
Parvesh Bhainswal starred for the Bulls with a High 5 and managed to keep Ayan quiet for a brief period, but not for long, as Ayan soon completed his Super 10.
With the Stars leading by two points and one raid remaining, a do-or-die and Super Tackle situation, Ayan produced a brilliant raid, scoring two crucial points and sealing the match for Sonipat Stars.
Karnal Kings vs Faridabad Fighters
The second game of the day was between Karnal Kings and Faridabad Fighters, and it was an evenly poised contest that turned into a raiding feast. The match remained close throughout, with both teams trading blows and keeping the intensity high.
At halftime, Karnal Kings held a slender lead of 21–17.A total of four Super 10s were recorded in the match. Surender Gill and Akshit Dhull starred for the Kings with Super 10s, while Rohit Gulia continued his fine form for the Fighters with yet another Super 10.
Young kabaddi star Ishant Rathee, who captained the Indian team to a gold medal at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, also scored his first Super 10 of the season.
Karnal Kings showcased their defensive brilliance in the closing moments and clinched the match 40–34. With this win, they remain unbeaten and sit at the top of the table with three wins from three games.

In the first match of the day, Gurugram Gurus will take on Panipat Panthers, followed by a clash between Rohtak Royals and Hisar Heroes.
