As the first season of the Kabaddi Champions League Haryana (KCL Haryana) progresses, the points table is witnessing significant fluctuations. With only a few days of the league stage remaining, teams are giving their all to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

On Day 8, the first match was played between Karnal Kings and Hisar Heroes, with Karnal entering the contest unbeaten and looking to extend their dominant run. In the second match, the struggling Gurugram Gurus faced the Rohtak Royals in a crucial encounter.

Karnal Kings vs Hisar Heroes
In the first game of the day, the table-toppers Karnal Kings, who were unbeaten until now, faced the star-studded Hisar Heroes. Ashu Malik started the match with a brilliant jump over the right corner and kept scoring points in the opening minutes.
Hisar handed Karnal a quick all-out within just four minutes of the game. However, Karnal made a strong comeback through solid defense and impressive raiding by Surender Gill.
At the end of the first half, Karnal held a narrow lead of 25–23. The match went neck-and-neck in the second half, with Ashu Malik completing his Super 10.
In the closing minutes, the Hisar Heroes held their nerve and clinched a thrilling two-point victory with a scoreline of 41–39, handing Karnal Kings their first defeat of the season.
Gurugram Gurus vs Rohtak Royals
In the second game of the day, the Gurugram Gurus took on the Rohtak Royals. The Gurus were rooted to the bottom of the table with no wins to their name, and it reflected clearly in their performance.
The Rohtak Royals dominated proceedings from the start and built a commanding 12-point lead at halftime, with the score reading 24–12. The dominance continued in the second half as the Royals controlled the game with disciplined raiding and solid defense, eventually winning the match by 44–32.
Rohtak displayed excellent team coordination, while the Gurugram Gurus lacked confidence and were never really in the contest. With this convincing victory, the Royals climbed to the top of the points table with three wins from four games and have emerged as one of the strong contenders for the title.

Sonipat Stars will face Panipat Panthers in the first game, while Faridabad Fighters will take on Hisar Heroes in the second match.
