Many legendary players have won these prestigious awards.

Kabaddi is a sport that Indians have loved because of the simplicity of the game. Anyone with any physique can play the sport of Kabaddi provided they are fit and swift. That’s why we have seen players from all around the country. India being the birthplace of the sport has rewarded the players and coaches with deserving honors.

The players have been awarded the Arjuna Award – given to the best performers in a year in their respective sport. The coaches who have played key roles in the upbringing of many players have been honored with the Dronacharya Award, the highest honor for the Gurus from the sports fraternity in India. To honor their contribution to Kabaddi over their lifetime, the Major Dhyan Chand Award. Few players who have changed the course of Indian Kabaddi have been honored with Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian Award in India.
