Two of the oldest rivals in Pro Kabaddi League history, U Mumba and Jaipur Pink Panthers are set to take on each other in the 28th match of PKL 11. Interestingly, both teams come into this game, having played out ties in their previous matches.

U Mumba have played three matches so far, out of which they have won one and lost one. They seem to have finally found their footing after losing the opening match to Dabang Delhi. They defeated the Gujarat Giants 33-27, before making a strong comeback to hold the Bengal Warriorz to a tie (31-31).

On the other hand, the Pink Panthers have stuttered a bit. After starting their PKL 11 campaign with wins against the Bengal Warriorz and the Telugu Titans, they lost 25-37 to the Haryana Steelers. In their previous match, they would feel that they dropped two crucial points, as they allowed the Tamil Thalaivas to make a comeback and tie the match 30-30.

Fantasy Dream11 Prediction for MUM vs JAI PKL 11

U Mumba are set to take on the Jaipur Panthers in the 28th match of PKL 11 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. The rivalry dates right back to the first season, when the two teams had competed in the final, with the Panthers eventually coming up triumph.

U Mumba are coming into this match, having made a morale-boosting comeback against a strong Bengal Warriorz outfit, although they might also feel as if they lost a golden chance to gain all five points. Their best performer in Dream11 fantasy has been Amirmohammad Zafardanesh, with a total of 236 points. He will once again be a part of most starting VIIs, considering he can contribute in both offense and defense.

The only other player to cross 200 points is Sombir, who pulled off many jaw-dropping solo tackles against the Warriorz. While their key defenders skipper Sunil Kumar (who was interestingly also the skipper of the Panthers in the last two seasons), Rinku, and Parvesh Bhainswal have all crossed 100 points, their raiders are yet to replicate that.

The Jaipur Pink Panthers would be looking to get back to winning ways when they step onto the mat today. They let slip the match against the Thalaivas from a position of advantage and coach Sanjeev Baliyan will be hoping that this doesn’t occur again. Unsurprisingly, the best player for the Panthers in Dream11 fantasy has been Arjun Deshwal, with a whopping tally of 355 points. Incidentally, he will be up against a team he loves playing against, as well as his former team.

Abhijeet Malik has been a revelation this season, scoring points on both sides of the mat. He is just one point away from touching 300 himself. All their four defenders: Ankush, Surjeet Singh, Reza Mirbagheri and Lucky Sharma have above 200 fantasy points. On the other hand, support raider Vikas Kandola has 143 points.

Season 2 champions U Mumba have had a poor record against the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the past few seasons and they will be looking to correct that. On the other hand, the two-time champions will be hoping for more of the same.
