In their previous match, U Mumba made a comeback from dire situations but still lost 27-30 to the UP Yoddhas. The over-dependence on Ajit Chouhan has been visible this season, as the likes of Manjeet and Zafardanesh haven’t been able to make the same impact. Ajit currently stands fifth in the list of most raid points, with 158 raid points.

The defence has also been a tad inconsistent. With Sombir having been released, the crucial left corner position is being occupied by the inexperienced Lokesh Ghosliya. In the current squad, Rinku has been their best defender with 41 tackle points, while skipper Sunil Kumar has one less. Unfortunately for the team, both of them are outside the top 20 in the list of most tackle points.

On the other hand, Patna Pirates have been a well-balanced unit, with the side occupying the top spot in the list of team raid points and the fourth spot in the list of team tackle points. Devank Dalal has been in a different league this season, occupying the top spot in the list of most raid points, with 258 raid points. The supporting raider, Ayan Lohchab, has 153 raid points, which is quite a good start even for a strike raider!

The defense has done a brilliant job in complementing the offense. Ankit is fourth on the list of most tackle points, with 67 tackle points. Deepak and Shubham Shinde have performed well too, with the latter pulling off solo tackles at crucial junctures too. If there is any weakness in the team, it is the left cover position, where neither Arkam Shaikh nor Gurdeep have been performing consistently enough.
