Kabaddi in National Games: Teams and match schedules
The men's and women's matches will be held for five days.
After a gap of seven years, the National Games are returning once again. This time the National Games are being organized in Gujarat, in which a total of 44 sports will be played. The last time it was held was in 2015 in Kerala. The 36th National Games will be held from September 27 to October 10 and about eight thousand players will take part in different competitions. All matches will be played in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. Whereas, one cycling event (track) will be held in Delhi.
Kabaddi matches are also being organized and teams from many states will participate in it. Separate teams have qualified for Men's and Women's. We tell you which teams are participating in the competition of Kabaddi in this year's National Games and the schedule of the games.
Teams and schedule of kabaddi matches in Nationals Games
If we talk about the men's team, then a total of eight teams are participating in the national games this time. Teams from Maharashtra, Goa, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Services and Gujarat are participating in the competition. On the other hand, in women's kabaddi, a total of eight teams will participate in this format as well. Teams from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Gujarat will be part of the Kabaddi National Games.
All Kabaddi matches will be played in Ahmedabad only. All matches will be held from 26 September to 1 October. This means that before the start of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9, the matches of Kabaddi in the national games will be done and dusted. PKL is starting from 7th October.
